All Eyes on Robotics at GEO Business 2025

NextGen Ri was proud to take part in GEO Business 2025, the UK’s premier geospatial technology event, held at ExCeL London on 4 and 5 June.

With over 4,300 attendees, 130+ exhibitors, and more than 120 sessions led by 200 speakers, the event brought together the brightest minds in location data, mapping, and emerging tech.

As part of the exhibition, NextGen Ri joined forces with long-standing partners Unitree Robotics to present some of the most advanced autonomous robotic platforms in the sector.

Visitors to our stand experienced first-hand the capabilities of the G1 Humanoid, along with our B2 and Go2 quadruped robots. Each platform was fully equipped with cutting-edge sensors, localisation systems and high-precision mapping tools thanks to our collaboration with Datron and OXTS.

The event highlighted how geospatial technologies are transforming sectors from urban planning and construction to infrastructure and rail. At our stand, guests saw how robotics is not only keeping pace with the demand for smarter data-driven decision-making, but leading the charge.

A highlight of the event came as James Brown, Managing Director at NextGen Ri, took to the Transport & Infrastructure stage. His talk focused on the use of robotics in rail infrastructure inspection, offering insight into how autonomous systems can boost safety, efficiency, and data accuracy across the sector.

Reflecting on the event, James said:

“GEO Business 2025 was a tremendous success. It’s clear that organisations across industries are actively looking at how automation and geospatial data can work together to solve real-world challenges. The conversations we had were not just exciting, but incredibly grounded in purpose and potential.”

As industries increasingly seek to harness the power of robotics and geospatial intelligence, NextGen Ri remains committed to developing systems that deliver real impact on the ground.
